The Loading Continuum — Open API Specification

For years, the logic behind staging a patient's spinal rehabilitation lived in clinical notes and a peer-reviewed framework. This page hosts something different: a formally specified, machine-readable interface so that clinical software — and increasingly, AI agents — can call the Loading Continuum's staging logic directly.

This is documentation, not a live tool. It describes the contract — what goes in, what comes back — for a staging API that composes with SpinalRisk, which handles safety screening before any staging occurs.

What this is and isn't: This is an interface specification (OpenAPI 3.1) — inputs, outputs, and endpoints. It is not a diagnosis, does not replace clinical judgement, and does not disclose the underlying combination-weighting or staging thresholds, which remain proprietary to Movement First International. A live, publicly callable endpoint follows regulatory review appropriate to a clinical screening tool.

Composes with SpinalRisk

Staging cannot proceed without a passed safety screen. This API is designed to accept a SpinalRisk triage result directly, so a clinical system — or an AI agent with both tools connected — can run screening and staging as one pipeline.
